Every year, the Lakeside Sailing Club - Pakenham organises a Free Discover Sailing Day for all members of the community. On this day, you'll have the option to: - go out for a short sail with an experienced sailor, - try kayaking on one of our tandem kayaks, - discover the fun & excitement of our sport, - meet-n-greet our club members. There is something for the whole family; adults, seniors & even kids as young as 6 years old can sail, when accompanied by a parent or guardian. People of all abilities are welcome as we offer accessible facilities for people with a disability (Access boats & hoist). Our Discover Sailing Day is free to attend and all kayaks, sailing boats & safety equipment is provided by the club. When registered for the day, Australian Sailing covers insurance*. We're looking forward showing you just how fun, safe, accessible, & affordable sailing is.
