Mold inspections need to include the attic space if there are determining factors. Sometimes testing is warranted but a majority of the time not due to the attic space is coupled with the outdoor air. However, sometimes the attic space can translate to an issue within the living space and interior envelope when ductwork, can lights, supply and returns are not sealed properly.
