(Original)Nanalysis Corp and Fraunhofer IMM anchor multi-party international research project. TROUT GmbH and Dr. Jason Hein of the University of British Columbia will join the principals on an exciting new research project, NMRplusX. The project, NMRplusX, combines orthogonal spectroscopic analysis and chemometrics as a process analytical tool for calibration and self-optimizing chemical processes. The four partners will cooperatively apply their expertise to build exciting new systems that may be used in Industry 4.0 applications. Fraunhofer Institute for Microengineering and Microsystems IMM (Mainz, Germany) and Nanalysis Corp. (Calgary, Canada) are the national leads on a new research project funded in part by the German and Canadian governments. The endeavour is funded in part in Germany by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research and in Canada by the National Research Council and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council.
