A Smart Home is one that provides its home owners comfort, security, energy efficiency and convenience at all times. Installation of smart products give the home and its occupants various benefits. Early last year Google spent $3.2 billion in cash to purchase makers of smart thermostats and smoke detectors controlled by the homeowner’s smartphone. The home network is the one giant mesh-like system that connects all the various smart appliances within your home, from intelligent toasters to smart refrigerators. There are a variety of home network technologies to choose from, wired and wireless, each with its own set of benefits.
