Jessie Rosson is excited to join the Cortes Law Firm and expand her career into estate planning and administration. While attending Oklahoma City University, Jessie began her career at the Oklahoma County Court Clerk's office. After graduating with a B.A. in religion with a minor in sociology, she set about a 17-year career in civil litigation. She has assisted with case administration and brief writing before administrative courts, State courts, Federal courts in multiple U.S. districts, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition, she has assisted CJA Panel members with criminal defense in the Western District of Oklahoma. From 2018 until 2022, she was the proofreader and editor of the legal treatise, "The Handbook of Section 1983 Litigation" by David W. Lee. Jessie is looking forward to her new position and creating working relationships with clients.
