The only way to connect with nature is to interact with it. That is exactly what Bodhi kindergartners do. Outdoor play, an integral part of a Waldorf kindergarten, is an opportunity to explore nature and create play outdoors. Everything nature provides in the surroundings logs, trees, leaves, twigs, stones, mud, water, puddles, etc become a part of their play.
What this does?
Playing outdoors in nature gives them a sensory experience, an essential for child development. It enriches their imagination, strengthens gross motor skills, builds immunity, creates a sense of wellbeing and provides active stimulation required for development.
