The drone is just another asset in Alacrity Home Inspection's arsenal of tools. Because for some structures, a drone is the only way to get a good look at what is going on!!! My experience is that it is usually the most "difficult to reach" areas of a house that are most likely hiding issues. This was the case, recently, in West Seattle. The roof was very hard to see and reach! Out comes the drone....and it is a good thing!! The roof was in generally good shape but had numerous instances of localized damage, presumably from hail strikes. And that, in combination with attic-observations of previous moisture stains on the roof's sheathing, drove our recommendation to get a licensed roofer involved - sooner than later!! It is not always needed but there are times when a drone's observations can really add value for our clients.
