Father's Day 2023 The Father - benefits of being His children Father's Day is often a day which ranks rather low on the rating board of holidays worldwide. It is a day noted for half-hearted gifts of bad ties and loose family gatherings where in the worst of cases the father is the one stuck grilling his own hamburgers. I'm uncertain how this came about. Perhaps part of it is due to men's tendency to play down the need to be celebrate. Men are often uncomfortable being fussed over in public settings. Regardless of how it has happened, it seems as if it is a reflection of a greater problem Though the trend is changing, in the decades following the second world war, father have become less and less present. This has had a catestriphic impact on our children and consequently our society at large. Fatherhood was created by God as a means of emulating His character and the benefits of relationaship with Him in the lives of His people. It is a matter of unquestionable evidence that the presence of a father in the lives of children have overwhelming benefits which cannot be attributed directly to anything else. The same is true of our relationship with God as our Father and I hope this message helps you recognize the benefits of intimacy with God as Father through Jesus Christ and the synergy which amplifies this relationship if learned and emulated through a godly father.
