Once a month we like to share a fun story, this month we’re looking at bird theft… In 2012 two Welsh tourists travelling in Australia, after a very heavy night out, broke into Sea World. While in Sea World, the intoxicated two decided it would be a good idea to steal a real life penguin, called Dirk. The next morning, once sober, the two quickly realised the trouble they had put themselves in. After a good panic, they tried to release an unharmed Dirk into a nearby canal, however they were spotted by locals and brought in by the police. The moral of this story is that now matter how safe you think your valuables are, it’s never a bad idea to double up on your security!
