Construction of a twin track viaduct for the Jurong Line VSL Singapore has been appointed by McConnell Dowell/John Holland JV as their specialist sub-contractor for the following scope of work for the Jurong Region Line Contract J108: - the erection of precast segments using 2 units Launching Gantries for both span by span method (1,013 segments) and balanced cantilever method (396 segments) and 4 units of lifting frames; - Post-tensioning work (more than 1000ton) Onsite works, which will involve 100 people at peak periods, started on site at the end of 2021 and will last for 18 months.
