The pandemic took everyone by surprise, and no person was left unaffected, businesses included. For the moving industry the pandemic meant we had to reconsider the way we operate, with a focus on keeping our clients and our movers safe. High Level Movers adapted by creating new policies that centered around following public health guidelines and sanitation. We implemented the regular disinfection of our trucks and tools at the end of each move. We also stocked our trucks with gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, and cleaning supplies. We then ran a workshop for all of our employees on the new health and safety protocols to help them feel prepared, safe, and supported during these uncertain times. This job required the movers to move the clients from two apartments then into their new home. Two movers and a truck were set to arrive at the pickup location for 7:00am. The movers arrived on time and prepared. They worked fast but with care that all health precautions would be met.
